letterpress line cut or line engraving (known on ebay as printer's blocks - but a real printer never would have called them that), made from ZINC and wood showing a happy boy & girl, presumably walking to school with a few schoolbooks.
The 2nd scan above shows what the cut will look like when you remove it from the shipping package; the first scan is "flipped" and gives you a ROUGH idea of what printing from this cut will look like as the printed image is the MIRROR IMAGE of the cut. Depending on paper used, ink used, the press used and the experience of the press operator, printing itself will ALWAYS look better than the cut.
Go by dimensions in first paragraph of description to determine actual size as scans - because of new ebay picture rules - may vary considerably from actual size.
