This is a
DARLING 1985
MERRYTHOUGHT BEAR
that was made in England for Harrods
.
I carefully stored him in his original box and he was
Never Played With
or
Displayed
.
This 14-inch bear is made from
PURE MOHAIR
as noted on his paper tag.
His head, arms, and legs are jointed.
He has a dark green ribbon (bow) around his neck (Harrods green color).
His Growler sound is REALLY GREAT!
According to the information on the box, he was made to the original 1930 pattern.
One of his cloth tags was also personally signed by the owner of the original pattern.
He is #332 out of a Limited Edition of 1000.
Also, it is noted on the bottom of his left foot that he was made exclusively for Harrods.

As an adult collector, my bears have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house.

No defects!
His Harrods’ box shows some wear, but it is intact.
