Description

Antique 19th century Victorian British courtiers/officers dress sword with double edged narrow blade. The flattened sections of the blade are decorated with etched scrolling foliage panels and crowned VR cypher. Gilt brass clam shell plain guard with raised ball edge decoration.

ilt brass crossguard and D-shape knuckle bow. Blade is bruised and pitted. Contained in its gilt brass mounted, leather scabbard is missing its chape. The guard, grip, and pommel cap are all tight. Gilt with fair wear and tear, very good condition otherwise.
