Up for auction is an antique Wheeling Sanitary Mfg. Co "Avon' advertising open bowl base recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in good used condition. Condition issues include a slight hairline and minor chip. Crazing throughout. Please see photos for details. Black lettering on a white base. Material similar to the bathroom fixtures the company made. Measures approximately 4 1/4"
in diameter at base. Probably held a bottle or jar. Uncommon. Recessed top and unglazed base.
