    Antique Miniature Toy or Sample Swan Shoe Polish Stoneware Jug
    Desirable mini stoneware advertising piece circa late 1800's.
    Popularly known as Denholm's or The Boston Store, Denholm & McKay was a prominent department store in central Massachusetts for just over 100 years, founded in 1871 and going out of business in 1973.
    Two tone jug with underglaze stamped advertising on front.  "Swan Combinaton Friction Shoe Polish" along with "Denholm & McKay Co.  Boston Store, Worcester. Mass."
    In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flakes.
    Measures 4 7/8" tall and approx. 2 3/4" in diameter.
