These are painted on water color paper. Signed on the front and signed and dated with title on the back. The back ground is a combination mix of liquid acrylic and gesso. Detail work is then done with gouache. I look at the flow of paint and color and visualize a scene or animal as I start to paint. Nothing is planned from the start, Just pick up the paint brush and see what happens. Lots of fun!

I hope you like my artwork. My style has been a transition in time over the last 40 years. Most is a combination of  liquid acrylics and gouache. I love doing wildlife, horses, cats and dogs. I also do pet portraits. I will be putting up more prints, art cards and original paintings here on Ebay. Come back often and check on what I have been doing. I grew up in the shadow of the Cascades, the beauty of the Pacific Northwest inspired a love of nature and wildlife. Trips to the mountains supply a stunning and endless backdrop for my wildlife subjects which I have been painting for over 40 years. I also love doing the domestic pets and have done portraits of dogs, cats and horses for many years
While raising a family I attended the Art Institute of Seattle where I graduated with honors with a degree in Visual Communications. I went on to produce art for magazines, newspapers and television, but my background in the fine arts and my desire to paint wildlife called me back to doing what I have always loved.
My work has been seen in galleries from Seattle to New York. My wildlife art designs have sold on shirts and tote bags in Alaska, and many of the lower 48 states. Prints of my work are selling on the national and international market. I am now producing my own line of prints printed on a color laser printer.
Originally I grew up on the Lange’s honey farm south of Mount Vernon, and moved back into the area in 2000 with my husband, Stan and six cats.
