The GEL-SONOMA ™ 6 G-TX running shoe is designed for the great outdoors. Taking inspiration from the ASICS trail running shoe family, this versatile model is ideal for trail runs, gentle climbs and other outdoor adventures. We also used fewer resources to color the insole for a more sustainable design approach.
This revamped version of our trail running shoe features a GORE-TEX ™ upper to keep feet dry in wet conditions.
This season's goal was to improve the fit of the upper, so we implemented a new insole design that provides more secure support to the midfoot and heel, while the wider toe gives the toes plenty of space.
The synthetic seams on the overlapping layers are designed for added strength, while protecting the feet and reducing slippage.
Underfoot comfort comes from a full-length AMPLIFOAM ™ midsole and GEL ™ technology cushioning unit positioned where runners need more effective shock absorption.
To increase softness with every step, we have incorporated an ORTHOLITE ™ insole for excellent comfort.
In addition, the multi-directional grip sole improves traction on different surfaces.
All of these comfort-oriented components are complemented by durable properties, such as the sturdy rubber outsole, which make this shoe a versatile choice for trail running.
