    Description

    For sale here is a British Export Martini Henry Socket Bayonet with Tri Form Blade.  As you can see, there is no scabbard.  The bayonet has an overall length of just over 25".  The locking nut and ring can move.  The bayonet appears to have a blued finish to the socket and a shiny blade.  The blade is straight, but does show some rust, nicks, age grey, and use.  Overall, the bayonet shows a good amount of old inactive surface rust and pitting, but retains good blueing and brightness.  The bayonet shows British markings, and what appears to be Egyptian markings.  The socket measures .74" or 19mm with my caliper.  The steel has a good even color, and has a good look.  This will make a great addition to your collection.  If i have mislabeled this bayonet, please let me know, and i will update the listing.
