    Antique Early 1900's W B Prather General Store Morton Mills Iowa IA Towel Holder.
    Tin Wall mount towel holder advertising W. B. Prather General Merchandise store in Morton Mills Iowa.
    This was found with a collection of Villisca Iowa area items.  Morton Mills is a small town about 11 miles north of Villisca Iowa.
    There is not a town mentioned on this but after searching the internet I found only one mention of a W. B. Prather store and it was in Morton Mills Iowa.
    It was in a store trade magazine dated September 5, 1914 that the W. B.
    Prather store and several other businesses in Morton Mills Iowa had been a total loss in a fire earlier that year.
    So this holder would be from 1914 or before.
    Holder shows wear and soiling from use and storage from the last 100+ years.
    Also rust on the back.
