Akasha, a Sanskrit term used to indicate the lightness of the ether, is the shoe of the La Sportiva Mountain Running collection with greater cushioning: dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long distance routes, Ultra-Marathons, Ultra-Trails and for prolonged use in work out. The comfort of fit is given by the cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform ”ž ¢ plantar insert and by the wide internal volumes as well as by the soft, breathable and enveloping upper with Slip-on construction that avoids compression points during the race. The innovative Dynamic ProTechTion ”ž ¢ active front reinforcements provide protection and structure following the movement of the foot dynamically and without constriction.
The gripping and bi-compound FriXion XT sole is equipped with the exclusive Trail Rocker ”ž ¢ solution capable of promoting natural movement‚ Å “external heel - internal toe‚ of the foot during running. Akasha: the ultra-runner's code is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.
