Straight from my personal collection, this original
Norman Rockwell illustrated Edison Mazda Lamps ad only from an original SEP magazine
has been torn out of the magazine, and the lower half of the left edge is very raggedy, with pieces missing. The right edge has 3 teeny-tiny tears, and the bottom edge has 2 tiny tears. There is a half circle light tan spot on the top edge. The illustration is vivid and fresh against a nice and clean background.
The back side has a nice “Monroe Clothes” ad. The page has the same issues as the front side, and is nice and clean.
Norman illustrated 100s of ads to promote all sorts of products. Here a boy has startled his sister and her date, by flipping on the light switch, and the date has dropped his cane and hat. This illustration is very hard to find, and altho it has the torn left edge, I think you will be happy to add it into either your Norman Rockwell, or vintage advertising collection.
