    Description

    Size is approximately 9" x 7" x 3". This carving depicts a fisherman with a net in one hand and a fish on the other, with stylized waves below and a willow tree behind him. I do not know what kind of wood this is, but it is heavy, at 1 pound 14 ounces. I also do not know exactly how old this item is. I have gone over the item carefully and do not see any signs of damage.  It came from the estate of a private collector of Asian art and has been well cared for to my knowledge.
