    Description

Custom slow feed hay nets made by Hay Burners Equine LLC
THIS NETTING IS 3/4" heavy woven polypropylene
NOTE:  THIS MESH SIZE SHOULD BE USED WITH CAUTION AND ONLY WITH HORSES EXPERIENCED WITH USING SMALL HOLE NETS
See  hay bag sizes information below:
    Single serve
:  holds about 12-14" of stacked hay flakes
    Half Bale
:   holds about  25 pounds  of hay or "half a 2 string  bale"
    Standard bale:
    holds  2 string hay bales  approximately 15" x 18" x 40"
    Extra long bale:
    for 2 string bales  measures about 38 x 64" - this helps accommodate the longer  west coast bales ( approximately 15 x 18x  48"L)
    3 String Bale
: holds 3 string hay  bales that are approximately 16" x 24" x 48", these are for bales roughly 100 pound and have 3 strings  (will also hold about 2 to 2-1/2  small bales)
    Color is black only
We do not recommend starting your horse slow feeding using 3/4" mesh nets, these are meant for horses that have mastered the larger mesh and are ready to move down on mesh sizes.
I also will do custom sizes , email me with the size you are looking for and I will figure up pricing
The pull is #550 paracord various colors with cord lock.
Raw edges are melted to help eliminate fraying
Bagging is done easily if you stand the bale on end (bale ties still intact)  Place bag over top and slide down about a foot or two, until the bottom of the bag is against the top of the bale.  Flip bale over (so bag is now underneath) and gently pull the bag up to the top of the bale.  Cut the bale twine and close the bag.
For hanging your bag, we don't recommend hanging from the tie string as it will cause premature wear to the string & can create a nasty knot.  A easy way to do it is to use a large carabiner clip, slip the carabiner through the draw string end of the bag just under the row of netting where the draw string is looped through and clip to your hanging ring
Keep in mind with any net type product and horses, due diligence by purchaser is required to insure horse cannot get caught in net (halter clip, blanket clips & shoes are the biggest culprits). There is no warranty implied or expressed for damage to nets from being used.  Some horses can destroy anything!
Inspect the  net regularly for holes or tears, Discontinue use if bag gets damaged beyond repair.
By purchasing this item, Buyer accepts full responsibility for safe use of net.
For larger orders I will try to adjust  the shipping costs
