    Amazing Vietnam War Photo!
    A U.S. Air Force Fairchild C-123K Provider aircraft of the 315th Tactical Airlift Wing at Phan Rang Air Base, South Vietnam, on  January 1, 1971. The aircraft, was named "Patches" for the more than 1,000 hit-hole patches that it received during the Vietnam conflict. This C-123 is today preserved at the National Museum of the USAF at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
