group of (107) 3¾"x2¾" Black & White PRSONAL, CANDID PHOTOS from the VIETNAM WAR from a Combat Infantryman 25th Engineer BN, 25th INF DIV, III CORPS stationed at DUC HOA AIRSTRIP near Saigon.
Since the photos are
dated 17 Mar 1965
, his unit has to have been one of the first sent to Vietnam after the Marines on 8 March.
The photos cover a variety of subjects including, but not limited to
DUC HOA AIRSTRIP, TAN SON NHUT AIR BASE, SAIGON, VC, GOODY HOUSE
(he couldn't believe the facilities here),
LOCAL VILLAGE CHILDREN
, etc.  Of the (107) photos, (72) have hand-written descriptions on the back.  The balance does not.
