Up for auction is this vintage or antique Chinese Canton Rose Medallion scholar art brush pot / pen vase with gorgeous painted flowers and birds and Shou longevity characters.
I believe this dates to the Republic period, circa 1930s. Signed on bottom and in great condition.
No cracks or chips - just minor enamel and surface wear.
Measures about 5” inches tall and 2.7” inches wide (12.7 cm, 6.9 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece and brush pot vase to use, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
