Vintage Antique Rare Red Snow Drop Mint Tin with Lid Filled with Vintage Buttons

Antique, well loved, snow drop mints candy tin by E.G. Whitman containing a variety of vintage buttons. (Disclaimer: I am not very knowledgeable about vintage buttons, but I do believe quite a few of these are of the celluloid and bakelite varieties, as well as lucite and metal. Very few if any fabric or glass).  Container with buttons (which may or may not include those pictured), weighs just over 1 pound.  Measures approximately 4 3/4" tall, 4" diameter.
By comparison, this antique metal tin is currently being sold by another Ebay merchant for (empty), and without the lid.  My listing includes the tin, the lid, and all of the awesome vintage buttons; some very large, some very small, some highly engraved, and some very simple.  Fun to go through them all before displaying or adding to your collection.
