Vintage Merrythought Growler Mohair Jointed Bear Made in England

Description

This adorable bear was Made in England from the Merrythought Ironbridge Shrops Company. He is from the early 1980's.  He is handmade and jointed.  His fur is a super rich soft cream color mohair and has felt paws. His nose and mouth are stitched and he has a short trimmed muzzle which highlights his smile (under the fur).
His little bib says "I growl" and while he used to growl in his tummy by tipping him upside down, he doesn't anymore.  If you give him a little squeeze you can just hear a slight growl noise.
He is in excellent condition, no stains or tears.  He has the original hangtag and his left paw has the Merrythought Ironbridge Shrops label.  Smoke free home.
