The function of this is for your butler to clean off the table before dessert is served.

Silver Plated
12 3/8" Long
I would say this was protype for the 1950 Daffodil pattern but
with the Meridian stamp it would have been made to early.
Light scratches with NO plating worn off.
A couple marks on the rear that should polish off.
This could make a custom piece for your set, cut off the handle and braze on a hollow handle from a knife.
All our Silver plate are Estate sale finds.
We do minimum of polishing, buyer must polish to achieve proper luster.
