WWI BRITISH P07 ENFIELD BAYO W/ RESTORED HOOKED QUILLON

Description

Good condition original WWI British P07 Enfield bayonet that is maker marked “WILKINSON” on the left ricasso and dated “10 18” for October 1918. Bayonet shows Indian use with an added false edge at the blade tip. Bayonet has a later “restored” hooked quillon. Blade was blued, probably in India. Remaining metal finish is blue showing some wear. Right side of pommel is stamped “PSHP 626”. Wood grips show some wear and handling marks, lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has steel throat and tip. Leather is soft and supple with some wear, stitching shows some pulling and loss. A good example of a classic P07 Enfield bayonet.
