    Description

    WWI British Pattern 1908 Cavalry Saber.
    The ricasso has several markings including "S. B. & N." for Sanderson Brothers & Neubold, review the pics for the other ricasso markings and guard markings
    . The cup hilt and grip are tight. The cup has some light surface rust throughout.  The wood grip shows a little wear, no chips but there are some small crackle lines on the backside. The blade is straight, unsharpened, a few light nicks, no rust, no pitting, and has an overall dark patina. Washer is intact. No scabbard. Length of the blade measures 35" (1" wide x 3/8" thick) and the sword is 42 1/2".
