    Description

    U.S. Model 1913/17 English Enfield that was made under British Contract by Remington for the British Pattern 1914 Rifle.  This one has not been over-stamped by U.S. after they entered the war.  This one has the original British markings on the ricasso.  Opposite side is marked, 1913 over 12 15 (Dec 1915) over Remington.  Pommel left side is marked, "130".  Excellent walnut grips. Excellent two toned blade with some age patina marks by the front.  Excellent working press-stud.  The Leather and steel scabbard has British cartouches on the steel throat. Back of leather is lightly marked, GR17 with a forward arrow below throat.  A beautiful WWI piece.
